Juna Italian Food

This oasis appeared in our search. And we were so thankful it was on this Monday of Thanksgiving. We were welcomed into a calm, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with pleasant music. The food gently tickled our pallets with lingering flavours. I would go out of my way to stop and enjoy Shawn's lemon cake any day of the week (except Wednesday when they are closed). If you are in the area or traveling through Halliburton, I would recommend you stop and enjoy.

This was our first visit here and what a wonderful experience it was. Amazing service. Food was amazing as well. We tried the lamb chop and the wild boar pasta. Food came fast as well

YUM! Great food, friendly service, and a full tummy! The atmosphere is nice, and well thought out. Mirrors for a small room, well laid out, even the bar seating was actually comfortable. I had the Bolognese with wild boar and thoroughly enjoyed it, good size serving and flavourful. My other half had the trout dinner and had good things to say. Similar notes from my friends who had the steak and the fungi pizza. I enjoyed the tortufo dessert. Very smart decisions by this business to limit their services, seating, etc. to ensure that their guests have the best experience, and the staff is not spread too thin. I appreciate the thought and details they have clearly put in here.

It's so nice to have a more upscale dining option in Haliburton! We have been big fans of Rhubarb in Minden. Juna is from the same owners...and it shows. Fabulous food (the pizza is a must and we also enjoyed the oysters!), beautiful cocktails, great service and the restaurant itself is so beautifully decorated. It's small and highly recommend bar seats or one of the two tables at the front windows. The menu is just the right size - no laundry list of a million options so you know they are making the food fresh. There is a nice cocktail and wine list. We enjoyed sitting at the bar seeing how various drinks are made and chatting with bartender/our server. We will be back!

We visited Juna on a spur-of-the-moment decision and were so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we loved the atmosphere, it’s beautifully decorated with lovely music and a really classy, relaxed setting. Bryan was exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic options and made some fantastic recommendations. The Mule mocktail was absolutely fabulous, and his service truly elevated the whole experience. The food was incredible, every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. We will definitely be back.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had lunch at Juna Italian and was blown away! I ordered the cacio e pepe (gluten-free), and it was hands down the best gluten-free pasta dish I’ve had since going GF — perfectly cooked, creamy, and full of flavor. My daughter had the margherita pizza and absolutely loved it. The service was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere made it such an enjoyable meal. Highly recommend for both gluten-free and regular diners alike! Highly recommend!!

We have enjoyed several GREAT experiences at Juna. The room is gorgeous, the food fresh and deftly prepared, and the service exactly how we like it: friendly, swift and relaxed. When this new place opened we hoped it would be good as it's owned by the team behind Rhubarb which is another excellent establishment, but it exceeded all expectation. If you're visiting from the locale, or travelling, Juna is sure to impress, Colin and Justin x

Amazing Sunday night dinner. Great food, fantastic service. Had pizza and pasta, both excellent. Nice craft beer selections, tasty cocktails.
